Major Duties and Responsibilities
40% Provides primary support for the company's network and PC/LAN servers which includes planning, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting network systems, security, hardware and software.
30% Manage DNS servers, domain controllers, DHCP server, SCCM and FTP server file servers, exchange Server and others as assigned. Implements, maintains network infrastructure (i.e. Cisco Routers, Cisco switches). Active Directory management; such as creating user accounts/mailboxes and permissions.
15% Manage and support, or facilitate the management and support, of enterprise server hardware, VMware virtual infrastructure, and storage systems.
10% Participates in short and long-range planning for the department to select and utilize appropriate technologies to meet the evolving needs of the company and its customers. Manages small to medium sized projects according to agreed upon budgets and schedules.
5% Provides support for Help Desk technicians quickly and efficiently. Creates materials for end-user frequently asked questions (FAQs).
