Hughes Helps Hurricane Harvey Victims
As a People Helping People financial institution, Hughes Federal Credit Union stands with the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Hughes Federal Credit Union is making a $1,000 donation to the victims of Hurricane Harvey, in addition to matching donations made by Hughes employees, up to $1,000.
Donations made through the disaster relief system of the National Credit Union Foundation and will go towards aiding credit union employees, members and volunteers in Texas who were affected by this devastation.
The National Credit Union Foundation is the only disaster relief fund dedicated to helping credit unions, their employees, and members who are recovering from major disasters. As donations are posted through CUAid.coop, the National Credit Union Foundation will coordinate with the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation in the disaster area to distribute money efficiently to affected credit union employees and members.
Hughes is matching their employees donations until September 14, and the total donation will be submitted September 15.
