Hughes Recognized for Social Responsibility

Hughes Federal Credit Union was honored with 1st place in the 2016 Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award. The award, sponsored by the Mountain West Credit Union Association (MWCUA) and the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), is given to a credit union for its social responsibility projects within the community.

The Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Award, named after credit union pioneer Dora Maxell, recognizes credit unions that promote social responsibility within the community, specifically, for external activities that strengthen the community. Hughes received recognition for credit unions in the $250 million to $1 billion asset category.
