Opening a Hughes Federal Credit Union account online takes just a few minutes. If you live, work, worship, or attend school in Tucson — or have a family connection to a current member — you're eligible to join. Open an account online or visit one of our convenient branches.

What you'll need to open an account

Have these ready before you start:

  • Social Security number
  • Government-issued photo ID (issued more than 30 days ago)
  • A way to fund your account — a Hughes member number, an account and routing number from another bank, or a credit/debit card
  • Your previous address (if you've been at your current one less than 2 years)
  • Joint applicant's information (for a joint account)

Please lift any freezes on your credit report before applying. Other restrictions may apply.
