Job Summary:
In this role, you will assist members primarily through electronic communication channels, providing timely and accurate support for account-related inquiries and transactions. You will play a key role in delivering an excellent digital service experience while ensuring compliance with security protocols and identifying opportunities to offer additional products and services. 

Salary: $21.00-$26.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist members through digital channels with inquires related to accounts, memberships, and credit union services.
  • Respond to electronic communications promptly and professionally.
  • Open new accounts including share, checking, term share, money market, HSA, and IRA accounts.
  • Process account closures in accordance with member requests and established procedures.
  • Verify member identities to mitigate fraud and protect against identity theft.
  • Perform account updated and file maintenance in the core system.
  • Answer questions about credit union products and services, providing clear and helpful information.
  • Identify member needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
  • Process payments, deposits, and transfers accurately using the core system.
  • Handle over-the-phone outgoing wire transfer request in accordance with compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and branch teams to ensure efficient and seamless member support.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Six months of similar or related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferably
  • Comfortable multitasking while typing, and composing professional emails
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced digital workflow
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Customer service experience, preferably in financial services
Preferred:
  • Experience in working in a credit union or financial institution
  • Knowledge of account types such as IRAs, HSAs, and tern share accounts
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
