To assist members and potential members with the creation and processing of loan applications with the credit union. Obtain all required and necessary information for the loan application to be underwritten by the credit union. Perform verification of income, valuation of collateral, verification of employment, verification of residence, and obtain accurate application information. Create and follow-up on loan applications from telephone, telefax, and online sources. Notify applicants of loan decisions and provide instructions regarding funding procedures. Identify potential cross sell opportunities for back end loan products and additional loans and recommendations to applicants as well as underwriters. Perform basic funding operations for loans. Meet or exceed credit union goals as established by management.
50% Create, process, and follow up on new loan applications submitted by telephone, fax,
or online. Obtain all necessary information required to make underwriting decisions.
Notify members of lending decisions and assist members in the funding process.
15% Identify cross-sell opportunities and cross-sell services to members.
15% Verify that appropriate records are maintained and required reports are
prepared including compilation and assembly of loan documents into files for record keeping.
10% Basic funding of loans.
5% Processes and inputs data on the computer system.
5% Performs other duties as assigned.
