This position requires a passionate, multi-skilled digital marketer who can quickly learn the ins and outs of a financial institution while working closely with employees and other departments to create a variety of content pieces for digital, social and print implementation.

Description

Role

Supports the goals and objectives of the marketing department in relation to the Credit Union's strategic plan and mission. Provides graphic design and digital marketing assistance with regard to marketing and business development.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

30%  Cross-train , assist and serve as backup for Sr. Graphic Designer for graphic design, web content creation, digital signage, brochures, flyers, print on demand and other duties as needed.

20%  Cross-train, assist and serve as backup for Social Media Strategist for social media posts, replies, promotions and giveaways, and other duties as needed.

20%  Cross-train, assist and serve as backup for Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist for SEO, SEM, PPC, analytics, content management, marketing automation, email, and other duties as needed.

5%  Provides marketing assistance for credit union promotions, special events, Annual Meeting, and off site events for business development.

15%  Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

 Expectations

  • To meet the Marketing Department's goals and objectives with respect to design, production and distribution of collateral materials and performance of other marketing duties.
  • To achieve the Credit Union's planned market share, assets, loans, and other product/service objectives.
  • To deliver planned results within budget.
  • To assist the department in achieving an internal service survey score of 4.75 or greater.
  • Knowledge and Skills

 

Experience:

Two or more years of experience of graphic design and digital marketing in a marketing department, ad agency, or corporate environment.  

 

Education:

Four-year college degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or similar, or the equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

 

Skills: 

  • Technologically savvy.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat).
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Adept in Web Design, Digital Publishing, HTML, CSS, Content Management Systems, Marketing Automation
  • Offline design including brochures, print ads and other offline media
  • Online design including emails, landing pages, websites, social media design work, display ads and infographics
  • Strong understanding of fundamental design principles for print that affect typography, composition, color, use of space and hierarchy of information
  • Solid written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently, but eager to collaborate with co-workers and participate as a member of inter-departmental projects.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time. Good time management skills.
