  • Responsible for processing of various operational activities, including but not limited to:  share draft processing, view drafts written for $10,000 or more, return deposit items, HSA accounts, loan insurance life claims, IRA accounts, term share accounts, death claims, check orders, charge off accounts, negative accounts, overdraft privilege, loan pay off requests, stop payments, check copy requests, levies, garnishments, dormant account maintenance and resolution on all services/products offered by the Credit Union.
  • Responsible for proper maintenance of various general ledger accounts and record keeping as required.
  • Prepares or assists in the preparation of assigned reports.                                  
  • Evaluation and determination of efficient methods of dispute resolution.            
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

To provide administrative support to staff and membership with a moderate to intermediate understanding of the Operations Support Department and its functions.



ExperienceOne to two years of similar or related experience.

Education: Equivalent to a high school education.   

Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.  Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.

Other Skills: Organizational and editing skills; ability to type; proficient with spreadsheets. Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Mental Demands: The mental demands necessary to competently perform this job include the continuous need to be alert and resourceful in solving problems; and to exercise a degree of patience and initiative in performing the job duties. Must have the ability to multitask.
