Can I pay my mortgage with PayFast?
The only mortgage payment you can make using the PayFast service is to your Home Equity Loan. If you need to make a payment on your mortgage, please contact the Credit Union during regular business hours.

PayFast loan payments made online can be postdated for one week in advance. Payments made by phone are credited within one business day.
Can I payoff my loan through PayFast?
Do not use PayFast to payoff vehicle loans in full because it may results in a 90 day delay in receiving your title. Titles can be received within 10 days of payoff by contacting Hughes Federal Credit Union directly.
I can’t complete my registration?
You likely did not provide the correct answer or the correct format of the answer. Example if MM/DD/YYYY is required and you entered M-D-YYYY this will create an error because of the number of characters in the month and day. Additionally, dashes are used when slashes are required.
What do I do if I forgot my user ID?
You will need to re-register and choose a new username.
How do I reset my password? What if I can’t remember my password?
Click on “Problems Logging In” (on the web tool) and follow the steps to reset the password.
I am trying to register for the first time and I get a message that says my account is unavailable for 24 hours. How do I resolve this?
This error will result if you provide incorrect responses to the validation questions. After 24 hours you may attempt registration again by providing correct responses. You can call the Credit Union to initiate a payment if required.
I can log in, but I cannot make a payment.
If you can log in but cannot make a payment it means you do not have any eligible accounts or you do not have a payment due on a Hughes Federal Credit Union loan.
Does PayFast accept payments by Debit/Credit Cards?
The FastPay system only accepts payments through checking accounts at another financial institution.
Can I use the comment section to send Hughes FCU a message?
Hughes does not see any comments added in the payment area. The comments are for your personal use and are not visible to anyone else. Please use our secure email form or contact the Credit Union during regular business hours for assistance.
I am a joint on the account. Can I register in my name?
Registration is only accepted on the primary user on the account (no joint members at this time).
I just received my tracking number for my payment. Can I still cancel it?
Once you receive the tracking number the payment cannot be reversed or cancelled.
I am unable to see all of my Hughes loans on the PayFast screen.
During registration you are asked to select (check boxes) for the loans you want to include with PayFast. If you did not select all of the loans during registration OR you have obtained additional loans with Hughes Federal Credit Union since registration, you simply need to create a new registration. This quick process will allow you to select all of your Hughes loans during registration. Just remember to login with your new/updated registration name and password going forward.
