YOU COULD BE ELIGIBLE THROUGH YOUR EMPLOYER
You can qualify for membership if you are an employee or have a family member that is an employee at one our already established Select Employee Groups. Please check our alphabetical Select Employee Group listing below to determine if you qualify through one of these employers.

JOIN A GROUP BELOW AND YOU CAN JOIN HUGHES FCU
If you are unable to join our credit union through the affiliation of one of our sponsor groups, or by geographic area, you can still join the credit union by becoming a member of the Friends of the Oro Valley Public Library for a $10 donation, the Friend of the Tucson-Pima Public Library for a $20 donation, Pima Council on Aging for a $25 donation, or the Tucson Audubon Society for a $30 donation.
Once A Member, Always A Member
Once you join Hughes Federal Credit Union, you are always a member. Even if you leave your current employer, no longer have a Tucson address or no longer belong to one of our special interest groups, lifetime membership is yours through Hughes Federal Credit Union.
Family Membership and Household Membership
Immediate family members are eligible to join the Credit Union as well. Included under immediate family members are: spouse and children, parents, brothers and sisters, stepchildren and stepparents, grandchildren and grandparents.
In addition, a household member is now eligible to join a federal credit union. Household member is defined as people living in the same household as a single economic unit or sharing household expenses.
Business and Group Memberships
YOUR BUSINESS OR GROUP MAY AUTOMATICALLY BE ELIGIBLE
Businesses and other legal entities (such as associations, churches and other non-profit groups) located in Tucson and using a Tucson address are automatically eligible to offer Hughes FCU membership to their employees or members. For more information, contact the Credit Union at (520) 794-JOIN.
Businesses and legal entities located outside Tucson (Catalina, Green Valley, Marana, Oracle, Oro Valley, Tubac and Vail, etc.) are invited to apply to become one of our Select Employee Groups or organizations who are eligible to offer credit union membership to your employees or members. Affiliation Through Raytheon Missile Systems Company and Union Pacific Railroad Employees
Hughes Federal Credit Union is proud to offer its Products and Services to its core membership groups, Raytheon Missile Systems Company and Union Pacific Railroad. You qualify for membership if you are affiliated with those companies in the following ways:
- Hughes Federal Credit Union is open to all employees and retirees of Raytheon Missile Systems Company, Union Pacific Railroad and their family members.
- Retirees of Hughes Missile Systems Company who live in Arizona are also eligible for membership.
- Membership eligibility is also extended to employees of the United States Government who are assigned to Raytheon, including contractors and employees of contractors working on the premises of Raytheon Missile Systems Company in Tucson, Arizona. This includes any vendor or supplier of goods or services that has employees physically working on the premises of our sponsors or their subsidiaries. This includes establishments such as canteen services, travel agencies, business machine servicing companies, those continuously providing temporary help, etc.
