Each year, Hughes Federal Credit Union participates in the Credit Unions for Kids© program in support of Children's Miracle Network©, which raises funds and awareness for children's hospitals throughout North America.

We raise money to support by holding raffles, selling candy bars and participating in golf tournaments, bowling tournaments or baseball tournaments throughout the year.

In 2005, we raised more than $9,628 in support of children's hospitals. Collectively, credit unions in Arizona raised $400,580.

Hughes Federal Credit Union has one branch office in Phoenix and seven Tucson branch offices. Funds raised by our Phoenix office ($483) went to support One Darn Cool School Program at the Phoenix Children's Hospital. Funds raised in Tucson ($9,145.19) went to support programs like the Hands On Therapy Program which provides speech, physical and occupational therapies for children who are uninsured or underinsured at Tucson Medical Center Children's Hospital.

You can purchase 500 minutes of prepaid long distance through Cards4Kids for just $20. Five dollars from each purchase goes to help Children's Miracle Network and Tucson Medical Center. Cards4Kids also has hundreds of merchant discounts.
