FRAUD ALERT BULLETIN
Please be aware that several Hughes Federal Credit Union members are receiving fraudulent emails claiming to be from the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). The emails appear to be real and are asking for your personal account information. Do Not Respond. As a reminder, the NCUA will not ask members for personal account information. Should you receive an email of this type, please do the following:
Please forward any fraudulent phishing email that appears to be from the NCUA to Phishing@ncua.gov. Additionally, you can file formal complaints concerning suspected fraudulent email with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC) at www.ic3.gov.
Do not open any attachments to the email, as they may contain malicious code that will infect your computer.
If you believe you have become a victim of phishing and your Hughes Federal Credit Union personal information has been compromised, please contact the Credit Union immediately.
