Welcome
Welcome to Hughes Federal Credit Union. Now more than ever, the choice to belong to a credit union is the smart choice and a real benefit when it comes to getting more for your money.
Hughes Federal Credit Union has a rich history of serving Arizona since 1952. We've been providing members with many of the same products, services and conveniences as other financial institutions, but at reduced costs and increased savings for our members. Credit unions are different by design — they are owned and run by the membership, so all profits are returned to the members in the form of lower rates on loans, better rates on savings, low or no fees and additional services.
Hughes Federal Credit Union cares about our community and is very involved in the community. If you are not eligible for membership, you can join by making a donation to some of the organizations we support, or become a Hughes volunteer and make a difference. Click here to sign up as a Hughes Volunteer. Once enrolled, you'll receive periodic updates about volunteer opportunities through your credit union such as annual meetings, special events, 88 Crime run/walks, Children's Miracle Network, legislative events and calls to action, etc.
We're Strong and Stable
You've heard about the sub-prime lending practices that have resulted in a strong backlash for many financial institutions. As a result, bank stock prices fell and the overall stability of some financial institutions gave way to shaky ground. But not at Hughes. We don't participate in risky lending practices and never will. Your Credit Union is strong and stable. We've been here since 1952 and we're here for you now-to help you with that car loan, refinance your mortgage or save for a rainy day.
As a federal credit union, we're insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a federal government agency. And since we're not listed on the stock market, we work hard to maintain our philosophy of keeping loan rates low and charging lower or no fees for our products and services. Your savings are insured up to $250,000 by the NCUA. IRAs are insured up to $250,000. Click here for more information about the NCUA and How Your Accounts are Insured.

Hughes Receives a Four-Star Rating From BauerFinancial!
Federally-insured credit unions are required to file detailed financial reports with the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) four times each year. BauerFinancial subjects this quarterly data to an unbiased and independent analysis. Based on the results of this analysis, a star-rating is assigned on a scale of zero to five stars, with four stars indicating an "excellent and recommended" rating. BauerFinancial states that "no institution pays for its rating, nor can they elude it."
Hughes has had 79 consecutive quarters (19.75 years) as a "recommended" financial institution. Hughes' four-star rating would not be possible without the loyal support of our member-owners. We thank our members for their support and participation in our Credit Union, and look forward to making a positive difference in your financial life for years to come.
If you would like to learn more about Hughes' rating, we invite you to visit www.bauerfinancial.com and click on Credit Union Star Ratings in the Quick Links column.

Just fill the attached Hughes Federal Credit Union Deduct-a-Buck Authorization form and mail it to Hughes Federal Credit Union, P.O.
